SKYE

My experience with SKYE has been nothing short of amazing, providing me with invaluable opportunities to learn and grow as a designer. I collaborate on brand strategy to create cohesive and impactful visual identities, design and refine professional logos aligned with client objectives, and developed custom typography and illustrations to enhance brand storytelling. I also prepared illustrations and rough sketches, discussed them with clients, and made necessary revisions to ensure the highest quality results. Engaging in client meetings via Zoom and in person, allows me to contribute valuable insights and gain firsthand experience in SKYE’s highly respected, top-tier design process.

Contributed to applying an illustrated vector anime motion line effect to imagery in a deck we are building for PGA Tour golfer Kaito Onishi from Japan.

For Beyond the Classroom, I created new infographics for a woman starting her own company to guide and coach teachers in becoming their best in the classroom. I designed an instructional coaching cycle and a leadership support pyramid to visually communicate her approach.

Sketched and vectorized versions of the word ‘Shop’ for the Golden State Shop Logo. The idea was to create it from the same fabrics you would find on sports apparel in the shop - athletic mesh, shoelaces, etc.

SKYE rebranded Fair Lawn’s school system. I attended the Round 3 logo presentation and had the opportunity to present the logos alongside SKYE to the students, staff, and parents of Fair Lawn. It was an incredible experience that I truly enjoyed. Additionally, I was tasked with designing mascots for one of the elementary schools. Radburn’s mascot is an eagle, so that became the character I focused on.

True North is a new alumni program at St. Lawrence University. I conducted a font study for them, focusing on finding a typeface that reflected their identity—modern, rustic, earthy, and bold.

Once St. Lawrence landed on a typeface for True North, they weren’t sure if they still loved the logo that they had chose, so I went ahead and began to sketch n logos that could be a possible option, that I vectorized.

I began working on this project the last week of my internship, I started with sketches of potential logo options. As a D3 Northeast Conference team, they wanted a design that blends the coast and the woods while conveying a sense of strength. I’m now in the process of refining the logos in Illustrator.
